In 2023, Catterall & Wright delivered a comprehensive water main upgrade and residential service replacement project along 1st Avenue and Main Street in the Village of Vanscoy. This project was completed alongside the Village’s water pumphouse facility upgrades to provide a complete distribution system upgrade to improve fire suppression capacity to key locations within the Village. Our team handled everything from preliminary surveying and detailed design to tendering, construction engineering, and post-construction services.

Anticipated challenges, including potential construction delays and extra inspection requirements, were carefully managed through diligent time-and-expense tracking and ongoing communication with the Village to address any scope or budget adjustments. These upgrades significantly improve the reliability of Vanscoy’s water infrastructure, ensuring enhanced service for local residents.
