The Greenbryre Estates Wastewater Treatment System was developed to provide a reliable, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible solution for managing wastewater in this residential community near Saskatoon. Designed to accommodate flows of up to 343 cubic metres per day, the system services approximately 250 homes, along with a golf course clubhouse and a small commercial facility.

The system begins with a low-pressure sewer network, where wastewater is collected in septic tanks for primary treatment (solids removal).  Effluent from the septic tanks is conveyed to a centralized wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). The WWTP includes dual-train Submerged Attached Growth Reactors (SAGR), a Recycle/Dosing Pumping Station, Effluent Pumping Station, blower building with a peristaltic chemical feed system for disinfection, and holding ponds. Developed in collaboration with Nexom Inc., this innovative system integrates multiple technical components into a practical and scalable solution tailored to the needs of Greenbryre Estates.
