Catterall & Wright was retained by the City of Saskatoon to design the rehabilitation of Parking Lot B at SaskTel Centre Arena.

The grading design introduced two new ridge lines that significantly improved site drainage. To enhance pavement performance and longevity, the design incorporated a TruPave paving mat, which is an interlayer made of high-strength fiberglass and polyester fibers, beneath a 60 mm asphalt overlay. This paving mat serves as a moisture barrier and reduces crack propagation from the underlying pavement, and will help to extend the life of the new surface. The project delivered a cost-effective, innovative solution for resurfacing the lot and managing stormwater.
