C&W managed a comprehensive $1.8 million upgrade to the Town of Langenburg’s sewage pumping station in 2021, focusing on capacity expansion and system reliability.
The project involved the removal of all mechanical and electrical components from the existing station, followed by demolition of the existing building at grade. A new below-grade concrete chamber was constructed adjacent to the original site to house two upgraded suction lift style sewage pumps. This was complemented by a newly expanded building superstructure designed to support modern equipment and standby generator power.
These improvements have significantly increased pumping capacity and ensured continued service during power interruptions.
