Completed in 2022, this $2.4 million project involved the construction of a new water pumphouse and expanded reservoir to support the Town of Dalmeny’s long-term growth plan. The upgraded facility receives potable water from the City of Saskatoon via SaskWater and replaces the Town’s aging pumphouse with a modern, high-capacity system. Key improvements included expanded reservoir storage, enhanced pumping capacity with fire suppression capabilities, upgraded chemical boosting systems, and improvements to the regional truck fill system.

The constrained construction site presented significant challenges, including the need to work around existing reservoirs and reroute power and gas utilities. Through careful planning and coordination around buried infrastructure, construction was completed efficiently and effectively. The result is a reliable, future-ready system that will ensure a consistent and safe potable water supply for the community for years to come.
