To support future residential growth in the RM of Corman Park, a new, larger water supply pipeline was constructed in 2023. This supply pipeline connected the nearby SaskWater potable water main to the Greenbryre Estates Water Pumphouse (WPH).
The project involved the installation of 1,950 metres of 150 mm HDPE, directionally drilled water main, a pressure-reducing manhole, and connections to the existing SaskWater pipeline and at the WPH. Key challenges included connecting to the high pressure supply main, as well as and completing underground crossings beneath railway tracks and roadways without disturbing the surface. These challenges were effectively managed through the use of directional drilling and pressure control infrastructure.
This upgraded pipeline allows for increased supply flow to the WPH, which enhances reliability of the water supply facilities and supports the growing development.
