Co-op cardlock facility is a new development with the existing fertilizer plant and bulk storage plant in the RM of Meadow Lake No. 588, located 3 km northwest of the City of Meadow Lake along Highway 55. The scope of work included an estimation of new trips generated by the proposed development and provide a cursory review of existing conditions including current traffic volumes and collision history provided by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure. Analysis of existing traffic condition as well as future background and full build-out conditions. Estimation of project trips, geographic distribution and assignment of project trips on Highway 55 and site access locations. Intersection illumination and turning lanes warrant analysis. Review of sight distance requirements, access management and cost share estimates for intersection illumination.
