David obtained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree in 2010 from the University of Saskatchewan and has been serving Saskatchewan communities with Catterall & Wright since graduation. Areas of practice and expertise include water treatment and distribution systems, pumping systems and lift stations, sanitary force mains, structural design, infrastructure system modelling and a variety of municipal assessments and reviews. David is a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Saskatchewan (APEGS) and maintains Permission to Consult in the field of Municipal Engineering.

As the Engineering Manager for the Water Group at Catterall & Wright, he oversees project and resource management for the group. David provides leadership to a team of engineers and technical staff, offering guidance for project design and career development. He values relationships and strives to build a cohesive team that delivers practical solutions effectively and efficiently. He is a logical thinker who likes to set goals, make decisions and evaluate progress. David finds enjoyment in this role as it provides the opportunity to serve diverse clients and communities while working with a great group of people.

Outside of work, David is an active musician in the local music scene as a keyboardist and vocalist with a variety of musical groups. He enjoys coaching sports and is a dedicated member of his local church. David, his wife and three children enjoy travelling and spending time at a variety of lakes in the warmer months.
