Devin Clarke, RPP. MCIP

Senior Planner

Devin has been working in the planning and development industry since 2009. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Regional and Urban Planning from the University of Saskatchewan in 2009 and completed internships with the City of Saskatoon, City of Lloydminster, and County of Vermilion River during his time at the U of S.  In 2011 Devin completed a Master’s Certificate in Project Management with the Edwards School of Business, and in 2012 attained a Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) Certificate.

 

Joining Catterall & Wright as a Senior Planner in 2019, Devin enjoys navigating the development realm and offering his clients practical solutions.  Areas of practice include acquisition and due diligence studies, urban master planning, development proforma, subdivision, development/zoning approvals, municipal planning advisory, and country residential planning. Devin has substantially influenced many communities throughout Saskatchewan, including large-scale suburban neighbourhoods in Saskatoon and Regina. Some of these projects include The Willows Golf Course and residential development, Brighton, Rosewood, and Hampton Village in Saskatoon, as well as Harbour Landing and Eastbrook in Regina. Devin has also completed large industrial development projects, including land use layout and feasibility for developments comprising over 1,500 acres.

 

Devin is a Registered Professional Planner (RPP) with the Saskatchewan Professional Planners Institute (SPPI) and is a full member with the Canadian Institute of Planners (MCIP). As an active member of the community, Devin served on the Board of Directors for DTN YXE in Saskatoon for five years, as well as the Builders Liaison Committee with the Saskatoon Region Home Builders of Saskatchewan for two years. Devin has had the opportunity to share his insight on the planning and development industry by speaking at the annual Saskatchewan Professional Planning Institute (SPPI) conference, the annual Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) conference, and occasionally as a guest speaker at the University of Saskatchewan. Outside of work Devin enjoys family time with his wife and two daughters, whether it be camping, visiting the mountains, or activities with the kids.
