Greg has been working in the municipal design and drafting field since 2012; when he completed the Engineering Design and Drafting Technologist program from Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology in Moose Jaw, SK.  He completed a work term with Stantec, and two work terms with Catterall & Wright.

After graduation, Greg returned to Catterall & Wright and began his career as a designer and drafter. As the diversity of projects at Catterall & Wright expanded, Greg’s role grew in tandem becoming CAD Manager.  Greg provides leadership to a team of design and drafters, offering technical support, reviews and guidance on a wide range of projects.  He balances the technical requirements, CAD deliverables and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams. Greg is a dedicated CAD Manager with a passion for harnessing the power of computer-aided design (CAD) to streamline design and drafting processes and deliver practical results. His design and drafting experience includes the use of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D and Vehicle Tracking to create 2D and 3D drawings and models.  He oversees the implementation and utilization of CAD software and tools throughout our engineering projects optimizing for efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.  Areas of practice and expertise include servicing plans for residential and commercial land development, with a focus on site grading, water distribution systems, sewage collection systems, force mains, and roadway construction.

Greg holds an active membership with Autodesk User Group International (AUGI) and actively participates in professional development activities and maintains a network of CAD professionals to exchange knowledge and expertise. This dedication allows him to incorporate the latest CAD technologies and best practices into our projects, training of the CAD team and maximizing value keeping Catterall & Wright at the forefront of the industry.  Outside of work, Greg is an avid biker enjoying the Saskatoon parks and bike paths with his family.
